Pinboard concept

Humans at our core are gene's that react to experiences. We are all the same in as much as we dont get to choose who we are. we simply are. Some people have shitty parents and some habe fantastic parents. Starting in pregnancy our gene's are constantly reacting to external stimulous. Starting with develeopmental hormones among other things. Continuing through the rest of our lives. Our bodies are amazing at responding to external and internal stimulous. It adapts so as to allow us to overcome. Any one who exercies regually will see this. Work hard and you get strong. Our body and our brain and even our genes do this. My concept, the pin board human is a way of explaining how a person works and hopefully with help with empathising more. imagine a large wooden bagetelle game. its the large board with pegs in it. You launch balls up the sode like pinball and the ball bounces off wooden pegs and eventually comes to rest at one of many points that give you points and some that dont. Imagine you are one of these boards. Its covered witb holes for pegs to go in. Some of them have pegs and some are filled in already due to your genetics. As you grow and live more legs are added and taken away. The ball represents an experience. The balls can be different sizes shapes and weights. As the balls travel through the board bouncing and rolling it affects the board. Sometimes adding/weakening/strengthening pegs as it goes. This reinforces your reactions to similar stimulous. Some pegs are put there due to your skin colour, some because of your country of birth. Your pegboard is constantly changing and updating. It represents how uou react to things. Since becomeing aware of this analogy i have begun to see humans as these collections of experiences on a framework of dna. It has made me give every one the benefit of the doubt as to why they are doing. Even if they are a criminal or a bad person. By understanding that they are a product of their environment. This is not an excuse for behaviour (good or bad) its simply a way of understanding it. We are all at the end of the day responsible for our actions. We are all humans regardles of where weve come from or what we look like.
